Hi, I’m Emmerson, but most people call me Emmie. I’m a commercial, portrait, and fashion photographer I am Shoshone and Blackfeet Native American so I come from a long line of storytellers. I’m passionate about collaborating with fellow Indigenous artists to uplift and celebrate their stories.
Photography has been my passion since childhood; in my headshots, I hold my very first camera—a nod to where it all began. For the past nine years, I’ve dedicated myself to capturing authentic, vibrant stories that resonate with subjects and brands alike.
With a background in marketing, digital production, and commercial styling, I create visuals that align perfectly with a brand’s message. Beyond photography, I work as a stylist, creative director, producer, and social media manager, and my commitment to collaborating with Indigenous artists fuels my mission to celebrate and amplify powerful narratives through my work.
